Contadora Island is the most accessible island in the Pearl Islands archipelago, about 70 km south of Panama City in the Pacific Ocean. The name means "counting island" — it's where Spanish colonists counted pearls harvested from the surrounding waters. Today it's known for pristine beaches, clear water, and a relaxed tropical atmosphere.
Getting There
Two options from Panama City:
- Ferry: ~90 minutes from Flamenco Marina (Amador Causeway). We can book your tickets.
- Small plane: ~20 minutes from Albrook Airport. More expensive but much faster.
