Beach Locations
Playa Escondida
A secluded Pacific coast beach about 1.5 hours from Panama City. As the name suggests ("hidden beach"), it's off the beaten path and offers privacy that's hard to find elsewhere. Great for groups that want the beach to themselves.
Contadora Island
A Pearl Islands getaway with stunning beaches and crystal-clear water. Reach it by ferry (~90 min) or small plane (~20 min). The BBQ can be combined with a Contadora day trip, snorkeling, or a fishing charter.
Taboga Island
The "Island of Flowers" is the closest island to Panama City (45-min ferry from Amador). A charming fishing village with beautiful beaches. The BBQ pairs well with island exploration or a Taboga fishing trip.
